So! This is my first post on here, and I’m very proud to get you guys started with all of my news! I will be updating daily transactions throughout the NBA and even draft picks on Thursday. But as this trade goes down, I will be here to further evaluate this.
The Los Angeles Lakers have made a move on their team that many Laker fans may be confused or upset about, they traded D’Angelo Russell, and Timofey Mozgov to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez and the No. 27 pick in the draft. Sources say that this trade was not only made to secure that Point Guard availability for Lonzo Ball to slide into, but it was also for them to shed off three years and $54 million that was on Mozgov’s contract, although, they’re gaining Lopez’s expiring $22.6 million deal, with Lopez ‘s contract ending soon though, the Lakers are expected to have around $30 million to take over the next season. Speculations could also be made that this move was a centerpiece for the Lakers to acquire Paul George as well, which may not happen till 2018.
